It’s 2018, we have just about anything you can think of, such as VR, drones and other unique items. This leads me to the next question, have you ever had a bagel after Breakfast or brunch. If you’re like me you have, such as half a bagel with turkey and lite cream cheese for an afternoon snack? Or maybe just a plain bagel with nothing on it. Whatever it may be, we wanted to challenge you to enjoy bagels not just during the morning hours, because bagels can be combined with so many different foods and meals!

 

  1. Pizza Bagel

  • Since we became one of the best low carb and High protein bagel, many people have loved to experiment with the idea of pizza bagels! It sounds heavy, but it doesn’t have to be! Many that are following Weight Watchers and Macros diets are having a great time whipping up these!

 

Avocado Spread

    • This list could not be complete without the holy avocado, chances are you are reading this and just got in the mood for some avocado, but you probably didn’t think about spreading it on your bagel. Avocados contains lots of fiber and are full of essential vitamins and Minerals such as: B-vitamins, Vitamin K, Potassium, Copper, Vitamin E, Vitamin C.  According to Medical News today, Avocados are also good for the heart, vision, and shows “promise” in protecting one from current cancers such as colon. When these bad boys are in season they are a great buy as well. Most importantly, they can be enjoyed at all hours of the day!

 

Nut Butters and Banana

    • Childhood snack? Check. Tasty? Check. Healthy? Absolutely. There are tons of peanut butters that aren’t full of sugar and can be healthy. For a high Protein route you can try P28. It’s kind of a powder, but it is very popular with macros instagrammers. If the powder doesn’t work for you then there’s always Justin’s. They have cool flavors like almond and vanilla almond butters. What about for those that have nut allergies? We are a huge fan of SunButter, this company uses sunflower seeds to create a butter free of all major allergens!

 

Apple Cheese bagel

    • This might sound a bit out of your comfort zone, but this content is all about giving you guys new ideas on how to get more use out of your bagels! All you’re gonna need is a cheese and apple of your choice, I would suggest a white cheese like swiss or provolone and then maybe grannie or gala apples. Some herbs will be nice with this like a basil would make it extra savory! Put the sandwich in broiler or oven until cheese is a light brown color!

 

Tuna Salad Bagel Sandwich

 

    • Due to most fish especially tunas natural high nutritional value not many are new to tuna having high protein and low calorie and this is all why it’s great for weight loss. Additionally, tuna can help aid with natural immunity boosting as tuna has a bunch of  Vitamin C, Zinc and Manganese. Try adding a reduced calorie mayonnaise to keep the points down.

 

Sun dried tomato sandwich

    • Another trending ingredient we have seen lately has been is sun dried tomatoes. Full of fiber and other healthy vitamins Tomato probably have been on your radar to use in your meal planning. After finding a great weight watchers hummus recipe Just adding more would be very tasty. We would suggest on a more savory bagel like an onion or Perfect 10 Everything.

 

Spinach and Artichoke Bagel Melt

    • If you’re a fan of fiber this one's for you. For ingredient ideas, I would use this recipe listing as a template and then mix and match to create your next super healthy. Once you have your healthy assortment of ingredients use a pan to grill the outside similar to a grilled cheese and do not let the cheese burn!

Turkey Bagel Burger

    • Usually we see people stacking up their bagel burgers with our wheat or perfect 10 everything bagel. We would suggest trying an onion bagel if you like it like that.
