How to be successful with the Weight Watchers Point Plus system

Who would have thought you can still enjoy your favorite bread products while losing weight? Western Bagel has made that possible. I have been following Weight Watchers for the last two years and honestly, it has been a constant challenge. I will always love food, but I knew I needed to change something about my diet. The beginning was a lot of trial and error. I started by focusing on my portion sizes and asking myself if I really needed a second serving. It required a lot of experimenting and finding alternatives to what I would usually eat. Then I discovered Western Bagel.

There are a lot of temptations in my work life. Breakfast meetings, lunch meetings, receptions, birthday parties, etc. and it was usually the breakfast meetings that would get me. Pastries, bagels, fancy cream cheeses, muffins, everything anyone with a sweet tooth would love was available for seconds, thirds, and even a quick treat before heading home for the day. Let’s be honest, on days like this, my diet was already shot by 9am. Western Bagel offers great alternatives for someone who is watching what they eat. I began substituting these bagels for the bagels offered at work and I felt like there wasn’t even a difference, but there was in Weight Watcher Points. The texture and taste of these bagels are perfect. 

 

I usually plan all of my meals ahead of time so that I’m not stressed during the week. It is exciting and relieving, that I can now easily eat a bagel for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Never in my life did I think I would be enjoying a bagel that was that low in points!

Losing weight is all about balance. You don’t have to choose one lifestyle over another. You can still lose weight while enjoying your favorite foods. Sometimes, you just have to get creative.
